Artist Statement

I study the terrors of tech policy by day and make art about them by night. Technology and governance speak through abstract diagrams, technical rules, and bureaucracy. I’m more interested in the older languages of myths, symbols, and storytelling, and in making them my own through saturated colors, messy marks, recursion, and inside jokes. Painting and self-aware web work let me leave technical constraints behind and return to emotion, intuition, and what it means to be a human being.
